SSCC Theatre is pleased to announce this years production of Theatre ASAP. The performance is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, beginning at 7:30pm in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium located on the central campus in Hillsboro.

Whether it is a small cast one act, an epic musical, or a large cast period play, most things that take place in theatre require time and usually months. What if, however, it was possible to write, direct, produce, rehearse, memorize and perform a play in a 24 hour period? You would call that crazy. We call it Theatre ASAP.

Starting at 9:30pm on Friday, January 25, and continuing through until showtime at 7:30pm the following evening, students and community members alike will attempt to write and perform their play within twenty-four hours. Interested? Intrigued? Excited? Then join us! We’re looking for writers, designers and actors to all be a part of this, so sign-up now! We’re accepting submissions of commitment until January 21. Scared? Skeptical? Yet … still intrigued? Then join us the night of the show to see how our participants do! Don’t miss this one of a kind theatre event!
