SSCC Theatre is pleased to announce their upcoming auditions for the fall production of Death of a Salesman, by Arthur Miller.

The story revolves around the last days of Willy Loman, a failing salesman, who cannot understand how he failed to win success and happiness. Through a series of tragic soul-searching revelations of the life he has lived with his wife, his sons, and his business associates, we discover how his quest for the ‘American Dream’ kept him blind to the people who truly loved him.

Auditions, open to community members and students, will be held on Friday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. in The Edward K. Daniels Auditorium at the Central Campus of Southern State Community College, in Hillsboro, OH. Those interested in auditioning should prepare and memorize a dramatic one to two-minute monologue. Those interested on working in available crew positions will be asked to complete an interview the night of auditions. If you’re interested in auditioning, but unavailable to attend the audition date, please contact Rainee Angles to schedule an alternate audition date prior to August 25.
