SSCC Theatre proudly presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, playing in The Edward K. Daniels Auditorium at Southern State Community College, Hillsboro, Ohio, July 24 & 25 at 7:30 p.m. and on July 26 at 3:30 p.m.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home life, the tweens spell their way through a series of [potentially made-up] words hoping to never hear the soul crushing, pout inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee features the acting talents of: Cindi Anderson, Lydia Bolitho, Micaela Countryman, Celia Griffin, Benjamin Gullett, Bob Lambert, Ryan Oates, Zebadiah Pickering-Polstra, and Eric Silcott.
