SSCC Theatre is pleased to announce their upcoming summer production The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Show times are scheduled for Fri., August 17 and Sat., August 18 at 7:30 p.m. as well as on Sun., August 19 at 3:30 p.m. in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on the College’s central campus in Hillsboro. The show will star Brian Deatley, Benjamin Gullett, and Andy Tabor. The production is directed by Rainee Angles, SSCC speech and theatre instructor.
Every last one of the Bard’s plays, abridged ever so slightly … maybe a little bit more than slightly, comes to the SSCC theatre stage in this “high-speed roller-coaster” of a show that takes all of Shakespeare’s plays and condenses them down to a two act, 97 minute, streamlined performance. The Today Show says “If you like Shakespeare, you’ll like this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you’ll love this show!”
Those interested in tickets may call the College at 1-800-628-7722, ext. 2794 or visit the ticket section on SSCCTheatre.com here. For more information on this production, click here, or to obtain 2007-08 season tickets, please visit here.
