By popular demand, SSCC Theatre will present Michael Frayn’s Noises Off, on Saturday, April 18th at 7:30 p.m. in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

Called ‘the funniest farce ever written,’ Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of traveling actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing On. As opening night looms, backstage chaos rivals the onstage antics, with missed cues, romantic entanglements, and misplaced props spiraling into comic disaster. Doors slamming, on- and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure into the plot of this hilariously chaotic and classically comic play.

The cast includes: Jacob Bice, Chelsea Brose, Camden Griffith, Benjamin Gullett, Leslie Holmes, Mark Holmes, Logan Savage, Madison Stanfield, and Matt Waits.

The production team includes: Rainee Angles (director), Brent Angles and Rainee Angles (production design), Zanna Eckman (costumes), Benjamin Gullett (public relations, sound design), Paula Campagna (stage manager).

Tickets for this special, one night only, encore performance of Noises Off are free to the community. Seating will be first come, first serve, so it’s recommended to arrive early. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m.
