On April 20, a group of actors were divided amongst four writers. The writers then worked all night to write a play that would suit these actors and meet requirements that were given to them mere minutes before their writing process had to begin. The actors then returned the morning of April 21 to read, stage and memorize their brand new plays before having to perform them only twelve hours later. The result: SSCC Theatre’s First Annual Theatre ASAP Competition.
Winner: Make it Simple by Brandy Chandler
