SSCC Theatre proudly presents John Cariani’s Almost, Maine, opening tonight at 7:30 p.m. The show continues this weekend on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:30 p.m. This season marks Rainee Angles’ tenth season as SSCC Theatre director.
On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
Almost, Maine features the acting talents of: Rainee Angles, Brittany Baker, Lydia Bolitho, Brian Brown, Paula Campagna, Chase Coe, Raymond Darnell, Jarrett Fittro, Benjamin Gullett, Madison Hatfield, Chelsea Heifner, Mark Holmes, Jeff Horick, Bronwyn Jones, Tori Kocher, B.G. Prater, Elizabeth Proffitt, Eric Silcott, and Owen Stanton.
Almost, Maine is directed by Rainee Angles and stage managed by Micaela Countryman, with production design by Rainee Angles and Abraham Martin, sound design by Benjamin Gullett, and costume design by Laura Martin. Fulfilling other crew positions are: Brent Angles, Jessica Clark, Karyssa Creager, D.J. Griffith, Melissa Griffith, Bryce Nartker, Seth Potts, and Heather Washburn.
Tickets for Almost, Maine go on sale March 4, and can be purchased for only $8, by clicking here. At the door, tickets are $12. Credit cards are accepted for online purchases and at the door. Seats for this production will be reserved, so it’s recommended that tickets be purchased early.
