newsbiloxiblues2011 SSCC Theatre proudly presents Neil Simon’s WWII comedy, Biloxi Blues, opening tonight at 7:30pm. The show continues this weekend on Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 3:30pm.

Eugene Morris Jerome (played by Deven Rine) and five other newly inducted soldiers form the latest bunch of recruits at boot camp in Biloxi, Mississippi. As Eugene sets out to learn about life and love, he must also learn to live with this ragtag group of soldiers that share only one thing in common, the need to survive. And they will, if they can get past the food, the bog, and their eccentric, short-tempered Sergeant (Bryan Kessinger).

Tickets can be purchased here for only $6 at a presale price. At the door, tickets are $8 for general admission and $6 for students and faculty (with ID). Also, at Friday’s performance, Veterans will be admitted for free, and for only $6 during the Saturday and Sunday performance. For more information about Biloxi Blues, click here.
